Wedding Videos

Wedding videos run the gamut from simple (and inexpensive) condensed montages done to a favourite song, to longer versions which can include biographical portions, all aspects of the wedding itself, interviews, etc. The following is a 3 minute excerpt sample of the latter, shot in the remote wilds of Montana, USA.

This one, filmed in the heart of rural England, is excerpted from the 70 minute complete version. Excluded is the heart of the ceremony, most of the reception and all of the speeches, all of which were delightful. This is an example of combining real-time footage of the important aspects (such as the entirety of the ceremony and speeches) and slow-motion footage of friends, family, locations and events done to a favourite song making it a truly memorable video that will be watched over and over and which is enjoyed even by people who never even met the bride and groom.

In some cases Vicars are quite restrictive as to how ceremonies can be covered. In this one the cameramen (and even the still photographer)  were not allowed to move during the ceremony. The allowable camera locations were also not ideal. But that's part of the job and one makes the best of it. When booking a church, couples should inquire of the Vicar if there are any filming restrictions. In extreme cases, filming is not allowed during the ceremony at all.
