You Tube changed the way people look at advertising with the advent of "regular people" telling their own stories and selling their own wares and services on video with much better passion, sincerity and conviction than professional actors and presenters.

You might be surprised to know that in the business and corporate video samples below, none of these people were pro actors. All of the people in these videos were the actual business owners, executives or staff.

The following video was broken down into a 4 part series for YouTube for a helicopter logging company that was featured on the History Channel's "Ax Men" series. While that got them noteriety, they wanted a video to both tell their own story and to promote their environmentally friendly logging business and the timber they produce exclusively from dead-standing timber. The entire video was constructed from unscripted interviews. Part One is included as a sample below:

The following video is a compilation of excerpts from a 30 minute recruitment video for a trucking company. Notice the sincerity in the interviews and how the staff sell the company without having to be told to do so.

IDEAL FIRST VIDEO FOR A BUSINESS

The following video is a recommended model for a business venturing into video content for the first time:

The presenter (or business owner) gives an overview of the business or service, sincere customer testimonials re-enforce what was said about the product or service, the company's logo/contact details are visible throughout, and the total length is under two minutes.

  While a professional presenter was used here, this can be your own talent instead.

 

Here's another one, a bit longer, but a comphrehensive tour of a music shop and it's facilities and services. One long time customer, after watching the video, learned things about the shop he never knew before--such as the fact that there are training and rehearsal rooms on the third floor!
